About me

I have recently started working at Walmart Global Tech India as Software Engineer III. Before that I used to work at Naukri RMS as a Senior Software Engineer. I have close to 3 years of experience as a backend developer. Enough about work! When I am not working, I enjoy singing, reading books,doing artsy stuff and writing about my experiences (you should check out my blog!). My heart belongs to Romcoms when it comes to movies. I love travelling and intend to do more of it in the future (when my brown parents allow me to :( ) I am curious about things and find it fun tread on uncharted territories. I am learning Javascript right now to make this portfolio a little bit interactive so watch out this space for more :D
I have a positive outlook towards life and believe that we can actually make this world a better place. I love K-Pop music (BTS to be specific). I can read/write simple stuff in Korean (Annyeonghaseyo!). I plan on learning more languages(Programming too).

Work Experience

Senior Software Engineer at Naukri RMS, June 2018- Present

Working on various important modules of Naukri RMS including Vendor Management, Duplicate Profile Identification, Candidate Mailbox for Recruiters. Designs system for Java Microservices using Spring Boot and Kafka, introduced Integration and Unit tests, powered complex faceted search in MongoDB.

Achievements

Winner, Enactus India National Competition (Rookie League), 2016

Served as the Vice President of Logistics and Operations Team at Enactus IGDTUW. Responsibilities encompassed of handling funds, logistics, bank account and events for the Enactus Projects, Project Khidmat and Project REAP. Our team participated in the Enactus Nationals,2016 held in Mumbai and was the winner of Rookie League.

Second Prize Winner at Online Social Media Workshop,IGDTUW | June-July 2016

Felicitated with Second Prize and a cash reward of INR 3000 by Precog Research Group IIITD for the Project “The Viral Times” during the “Online Social Media” Workshop organized by ACM Chapter of IGDTUW.

Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) | Class 12

Awarded Scholarship for Higher Education (SHE) for Inspired Research by The Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India. It is awarded to students who happen to be among the top 1% in 12th standard at their respective Board Examinations and are pursuing courses in Natural and Basic sciences at the B.Sc. or Integrated M.Sc. levels.
